Over the weekend, Siddharth Mallya tied the knot, and Vijay Mallya ensured he wasn’t left out. The elusive billionaire celebrated Siddharth’s marriage to Jasmine with his close friends and family, as seen in pictures that have surfaced online. Vijay appeared with Sid and his spouse in one of the pictures. The family looked happy as they posed for pictures.
It has also been revealed via images and videos that Sid and Jasmine presided over two wedding ceremonies. Sid and Jasmine completed a Hindu-style wedding ceremony in addition to getting ready for a Christian-style wedding, where his bride Jasmine looked stunning in a white gown. According to reports, Vijay Mallya’s $14 million Hertfordshire home hosted the wedding. In 2016, a few months after he escaped from India, Vijay bought the estate. The promoter of Kingfisher Airlines is facing allegations of money laundering. In addition, he owes an Indian bank Rs 9,000 crore about his airline’s 2012 demise.
In the meantime, Siddharth—who was once romantically involved with Deepika Padukone—confirmed on his Instagram account that he is currently married. “MR & Mrs Muppet #justmarried #wedding,” Sid Mallya said, posting two photos from his Christian-style wedding.
Jasmine shared the first picture on her Instagram Stories as well. Siddharth chose a sharp suit for the picture, while Jasmine was dressed in a white gown. The pair seemed to have tied the knot outside. Also, Jasmine allowed viewers to have a close-up look at their wedding band. She posted a photo of their hands with the words “Forever.”
Siddharth posted a sneak peek of the wedding party on Instagram to start the celebrations. “Wedding week has begun.❤️ #wedding #ily,” Siddharth said beside an image of himself and his future wife. The soon-to-be couple could be seen posing behind a stunning rose installation in the picture. Jasmine chose a floral dress, but Siddhartha wore a white tuxedo and pink slacks.
