On Tuesday, June 18, a video of Pakistani seamer Haris Rauf fighting a fan in the street went viral on social media, setting off a horrific chain of events that rocked the internet.
Rauf is seen strolling with his wife on the streets in the video, which has now gone viral on the internet when he became irritated by something a fan said. Rauf quickly lost his cool and sprinted violently to stop the Pakistani supporter. Luckily, the onlookers there kept Haris and the fan apart in what could have been a physical altercation.
The fan can be heard claiming that he merely wanted a picture, but it’s evident from the unclear audio in the video that the Pakistani seamen were upset at something mentioned to his father. But Rauf said, ‘Tere Baap ne ye parvarish ki hai teri (Is this the upbringing done by your father?)’. Furthermore, it came out that the fan was from Pakistan, despite Rauf’s first assumption that they were Indian.
After losing to both India and the United States in the T20 World Cup, Pakistan’s cricket team experienced a new low. Rauf was the fastest bowler from Pakistan to reach 100 T20I wickets, yet he also went for runs during the competition.
