It’s well said by a few genius that nothing is impossible, and day after day we find shreds of evidence which prove the statement right. Many different fields are showing its advancement on different platforms through achieving the impossible. We human beings don’t understand the medical stuff, but fortunately, there are people medical doctors and researchers, who each day are making progress in the development of our betterment.
The ambitious spirits of the medical researchers have brought a new revolution in the medical science field. As per the declaration of the Italian professor and neurosurgeon, Sergio Canavero, the world first ever human head transplant has been conducted in China. As per the information, the transplant was completed in a span of 18 hours prolix operation. The operation was carried out on a corpse and it turned into concluded that it changed into doable to rejoin the spine, veins and the nerves of an injured head.
The operation was headed by Dr. Xiaoping Ren, in conjunction with a crew from the Harbin medical college. Xiaoping is known for his work in which he inserted a head at the top of a monkey’s body. The important objective of the surgical treatment was to reduce and repair the spinal string before using electrical or attractive jolts to restore the nerves, preferably inciting improvement inside the useless body.
Canavero, the chief of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group, talked in a meeting in Vienna for the benefit of the group and said that they would soon rehearse the same operation on a living being. He said that “For too long nature has dictated her rules to us. We’re born, we grow, we age and we die. For millions of years, humans have evolved and 100 billion humans have died. That’s genocide on a mass scale. We have entered an age where we will take our destiny back in our hands. It will change everything. It will change you at every level. The first human head transplant, in the human mode, has been realized. The paper will be released in a few days. Everyone said it was impossible, but the surgery was successful.”
Canavero had shared his idea about the transplant in 2015 and had received an awesome response and plenty of people came ahead to adopt the lifestyles-threatening surgery. A handicapped Russian scientist, Valery Spiridonov, had additionally stepped for the top transplant.
Canavero has revealed his plans recently after the success of the first transplant and has said that the transplant would be tested on someone from China only, and many people have volunteered for the same.
Canavero seems very confident about this transplant and we hope that it turns out to be successful as it would be a great add-on to the medical assets.
